Queen Mother Nina Womack is a Los Angeles, California native and crowned “Development Queen in Ghana, West Africa, a royal position charged with the community’s socioeconomic development.

The creative actress and humanitarian is a 30-year seasoned professional in producing, directing, and organizing black cultural festivals, theatrical productions, videos and multimedia projects.

She’s also the founder of “Let’s Be Whole,” a public health organization which provides holistic programs, including metal health support and “food as medicine.” For under-resourced communities.

Backstory

Queen Nina Womack’s entertainment industry journey boasts early success as a child actress and print model while growing up in South L.A.

At the age of 18, she married music producer, Cecil Womack Jr., son of late Motown vocalist Mary Wells and Cecil Womack from the acclaimed singing duo, Womack & Womack. Cecil Jr. is also the nephew of legendary R&B singer, Bobby Womack.

Fresh out of college with a degree in Theater, she began her film production career as an intern at BET’s Directors Circle FilmWorks. Her dedication and talent propelled her climb up the ladder to landing executive positions at multiple film companies and producing on film sets before launching her own media brand.

She runs an international entertainment & sports development agency, Transmedia 360 headquartered in both L.A. and Lagos, Nigeria.
